In the page to the left above, you can see my process to making the painting while I plan and sketch it on the page below titled 29th December 2019. I've used acrylic for all of my paintings, but sometimes the sky is a bit lighter than the heavy texture that acrylic creates, so I add a little bit of water to make the sky feel more dappled (it also helps stretch the colour I've made to cover all that it needs to) 

This double page is a plan for the piece to the left. I practiced drawing out the different parts of the photo and recording the different colours I would use. Unfortunately, I only managed to complete the top half of the painting, you can still see the layout plan I made in biro.
